98 POINTS 2019 INVENIAM VIAM

The 2019 Inveniam Viam Cabernet Malbec is Bleasdale’s first super-premium wine. And what a way to make an entry than by being awarded 98 Points by Campbell Mattinson in the 2025 edition of the Halliday Wine Companion. Here’s what Campbell had to say…

‘Inveniam Viam’ is Latin for ‘I shall find a way’. It’s the first real ‘iconic’ addition to the Bleasdale range, and so you could say – it’s been175 years in the making, which is the anniversary Bleasdale celebrates this year.

A blend of Langhorne Creek’s two best varieties, cabernet sauvignon (81%) and malbec (19%), and in a word, magnificent. It’s firm, rich, minerally, smoky, ferrous and packed with interest. It has outstanding line, length and flavour.

Character, in a clean context, is writ large. It’s blessed with red and black berry flavours along with graphite, anise and cedar, although for all its volume it remains elegant, controlled and fine. This wine is all the beautiful things, in all the beautiful ways.
