'There's a Story in Every Glass' Documentary Screening - Friday 8th May -
Join us for an evening at the Langhorne Creek Memorial Hall as we offer a first showing of Bleasdale’s ‘There’s a Story in Every Glass’ documentary.
Created by Ian Doyle and Malcolm Ludgate, with narration by Jane Doyle OAM, this 80-minute documentary takes you through the life of Frank Potts and the establishment of Bleasdale Vineyards.
Featuring original footage of the Red Gum Lever Press in action and interviews with Potts descendants & Wolf Blass, the viewer is taken back in time across three centuries of pioneering history.
Wine, soft drinks and light snacks will be available for purchase.

Tastes of the Wild - Langhorne Creek at Monarto Safari Park
Get a taste of the wild at Monarto Safari Park as the Langhorne Creek wine region brings its award-winning wines to a truly unique setting.
Begin with welcome drinks and canapes at the giraffe platform, where you’ll learn about these majestic creatures and their fascinating history at Monarto. Then, go for a short stroll to the Waterhole Function Centre for a three-course meal perfectly paired with Langhorne Creek’s finest wines.
Hosted by wine industry personality Katie Spain, the evening offers insights from winemakers and Langhorne Creek wine families, revealing the region’s rich agricultural heritage and its special connection with Monarto Safari Park.

Wines made to be enjoyed on a summer afternoon where days drift into nights.
The ‘Trav’s Sav’ Sauvignon Blanc, ‘The Hill’ Adelaide Hills Chardonnay as well as the S.C.G. Rosé and M.C.G. blends are bright fruit forward styles designed to enjoy on any occasion with cleverly layered complexity to keep the serious wine consumer happy, but won’t intimidate others. Relaxed, comfortable and textural – just like the cricket team’s Cable Knit Vests that inspired the labels.
The ‘Barrel 137’ Grenache and ‘Barrel 454’ Shiraz, with their Baggy Green Cap inspired labels are wines with great depth and complexity. These are the wines to take to a dinner party, wines to be cellared, but also enjoyable to drink now.
